Southern Brass was started in 1999 with the idea that quality makes a difference. We have taken great effort to present our customers with the best products and unparalleled service. We wanted to offer an affordable Lifetime finish brass, so we negotiated with our manufacturers, and now every exterior polish brass lock we sell has a Lifetime finish.  We were also able to negotiate a great price on a Stainless Steel exterior lock with Stainless Steel screws.  The finish on the Stainless Steel lock is virtually indestructible. We have made improvements with our temporary lock system and more improvements are coming.

Our delivery trucks are the best in the industry. We use the most fuel efficient delivery trucks on the market to keep our costs as low as possible.  We are adding computers to every truck so we can provide on-site estimates, generate invoices, and access customer accounts from the field.  We have developed a secret key code system, and with our Kwikset and Schlage key machine on board every truck, we are able to replace lost keys in minutes. Our trucks are fully equipped 'rolling stores' and stock our complete inventory line.  To further reduce our costs, we have established a credit policy that ensures we are conducting business with credit-worthy, licensed home builders.  Our goal is to keep our expenses low without ever sacrificing the service that separates us from competitors.

Unfortunately, we have no control over vendor's costs. We are now facing the first major price increase from our suppliers. This unexpected increase took effect May 1, 2006.  As a result, we will be increasing our prices. Due to our substantial inventory, we will be able to offer our current prices until July 1, 2006. Afterwards, prices will increase by 6%.  Satisfied customers are our best advertisement, so I encourage you to give us feedback on how we are doing.
